A bachelor party boat day in Miami is four hours on a clock that starts at the dock. Haulover or Miami Beach, Nixon sandbar, coolers, a hull that fits the list. You book the slip before you book dinner. The restaurant can move a night. The boat can’t.
Half day versus full day. Half-day is about four hours and it fits most groups of 8 to 16. You’re on the water, you’re at the sandbar, you’re back in time to shower before Friday or Saturday dinner. Full-day if you’re adding fishing or skis and you’re not also stacking a 1 p.m. cabana. Stacking both is how people are done by 4. Pick one heavy thing for Saturday.
Where you leave from changes the day. Haulover puts you closer to the sandbar. A Miami Beach or river departure can eat the first hour getting out. That hour is still on the clock. Ask the leaving location before you fall in love with a photo of a white bow. Nixon is the run most bachelor lists want: drop the hook, open the coolers, stay in Biscayne. Offshore fishing is a different Saturday — earlier, farther, meaner on the stomach. You pick. You don’t stack them.

What’s on the quote versus what you bring. Captain and crew come with the hull. Ice and coolers: ask. Sound: ask. Fuel sometimes sits on top of the rate. Gratuity belongs in the pot so you’re not passing a hat on the seawall. Food: a lot of charters don’t feed you. Bring it or schedule a meal after you dock. Twelve hungry people at 3 p.m. in South Beach with no reservation is a new problem. Alcohol: ask what’s allowed to load at the lot. Some docks are picky.
I won’t put a dollar figure here. It moves with the weekend, the size of the boat, and whether you’re asking in November or during F1. Call for a quote on your dates and group size. Get the number in writing with a start definition — when you leave the slip versus when you’re on the sandbar.
Weather and the reschedule. June through September, assume an afternoon storm. It usually blows through. It can sit. Put the cancel terms in the same thread as the price, before you’re arguing on the seawall. A house with a living room is the backup. A Brickell studio with no common space isn’t.
How far ahead. Four to six weeks for a normal weekend. Two to three months for Memorial Day, Spring Break, Art Basel, F1, New Year’s, and the Saturday around Halloween. Hulls disappear first. If you’re inside that window, call anyway. Leftovers exist.
Count the people who will actually stand on the deck. The brochure max is not your number. Weight, beer, and gear all count. Shoes you can wet. Sunscreen. A towel. Late people still pay — the hour burns at the dock. Collect before the deposit leaves your card. One card. The marina will not split a charter twelve ways.
Insurance and a passenger list: some operators want names. Have them. A plus-two you didn’t mention is a problem at the seawall. Music on board is fine. A full production at the sandbar is how you get asked to move. Keep it a boat day. You’ll still get the photo. If anyone gets sick in cars, stay in the bay. Most bachelor groups want Nixon, not a crossing.
We put the boat on the same call as the house and the bus when you want bachelor party packages sequenced. You can book the charter alone. The spine is still the same: lock the slip, then sleep, then Friday dinner.
